The promotions program will mostly suit those with a mid to high range budget, as daily free spins deals often have high deposit triggers of as much as £50. Tournaments and prize draws also have a high bar to entry. So, if you’re coming in with plans to drop a £5 or £10 deposit each week to earn 10 cash spins, you’ll be disappointed.

We did surface a few sticking points in our tests, including low RTP rates on many big-name slots and slow support response times. But on balance, Grand Ivy is a great choice for serious casino fans.

Grand Ivy is an online gambling website and app that operates under the UK license of White Hat Gaming limited (account number 52894). It’s branding is casino-orientated and it features 1,000s of slots and live dealer tables, but it has recently added sports betting too.  

White Hat Gaming is an established name in UK gambling - the company formed in 2012 - with more than 20 sites in their portfolio. Grand Ivy was added in 2015, so it’s one of their longest-running brands.

Whilst testing the platform we reviewed the site’s safety and security features. Our findings our shown in the table below.

White Hat Gaming’s £1.3 Million Fine

Back in 2020 Grand Ivy was one of four sites on the White Hat Gaming label that were flagged for failings in anti-money laundering and social responsibility practices as part of a Gambling Commission audit. The operator was fined £1.3 million as a result. We do consider this when scoring the site for Safety and Trust. However, we also note that following the fine White Hat Gaming strengthened their safer gambling procedures to bring them in line with license conditions. This, and the fact that there have been no further sanctions, leads us to conclude that this is still a safe place to bet.

Grand Ivy has a Trustpilot rating of 1.7/5 from 334 reviews and an AskGamblers score of 5.4/10 from 47 reviews. These are low scores. On both sites common complaints relate to customer support response times and delays during verification checks.

This is significant because in our own testing we experienced live chat timing-out on more than one occasion. And although we did not encounter any issues with withdrawals or account verification, we have seen these complaints in Trustpilot profiles of other White Hat Gaming sites. This suggests that the level of service in these areas might not be good.

How long do withdrawals take at Grand Ivy?

White Hat Gaming sites aren’t the fastest at processing withdrawals, but they are better than they used to be.

Whilst the site states a minimum of 24 hours to approve a payment, it is usually much quicker. In our case we made a withdrawal or £25 to Mastercard which was approved in 1 hour and 37 minutes.

Whilst there are sites out there now that automatically process withdrawals of this size instantly, at least in this case our withdrawal was listed as ‘Pending’ until it was approved. We also received an email when we requested the payment, and one when it was approved. That means we had proper transparency on the process.

Is There A Sign-Up Offer at Grand Ivy Casino?

What Ongoing Promotions Are There?

Grand Ivy has a busy promotions program with the opportunity to claim free spins or a match bonus on most days. This is typical of White Hat sites in our experience.

Daily Bonus Wheel and Other Offers

Whilst we played, daily deals were mainly offered via a promotions hub in the account area. This will be familiar to anyone who has played at other White Hat Gaming sites. We could spin a bonus wheel once a day and occasionally received offers into our personal message box.

The rewards were often generous – 40, 50 or even 100 free spins – but the terms were quite strict. Most deals had deposit triggers of £20 or more, sometimes as high as £50. And for every offer we accepted, winnings came as bonus funds with a 10x wagering requirement, rather than cash.

We could easily track progress towards meeting wagering requirements via a progress bar for each active bonus in our account. There was also a useful link to see which games qualify towards meeting the target. The only catch was, when we completed the wagering requirements, we didn’t see any message within the game telling us we were switching to real money bets. That would have created more transparency.

Promotions Favour Higher Spending Players

Whilst promotions are frequent, if you are the kind of player looking to pick up 10 ‘no wager’ spins for a £10 deposit once a week, Grand Ivy won’t be for you. It’s just not that kind of site. Instead, the deals are tailored to higher spending players with those higher deposit triggers.

We noticed this pattern with other promotions too.

For example, weekly slots tournaments awarded points for total wagering rather than win multipliers, and only bets of 50p or more counted towards the points tally of each player. That means if you’re not spending a lot, you’re not really in the race.

Also, entry to weekly, tri-annual and annual cash prize draws came at a high price. For example, you needed to be depositing £100 and wagering £4,000 to earn one ticket for the weekly £500 draw.

We did find a simple loyalty programme advertised in our account that provided an additional incentive to play, but the rewards were modest. Every £4,000 wagered on slots earned enough points to exchange for £5 in bonus funds, again subject to 10x wagering requirements.

Which Slots and Game Providers Does Grand Ivy Have?

Grand Ivy's game library is powered by more than 100 providers which creates real strength in depth, particularly for slots players. Top names include Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, Big Time Gaming, Nolimit City and Print Studios.

We found more than 4,900 slots listed, enough to keep the most avid slots players busy. As you would expect, all the classics are available including Book of Dead, the full Big Bass series, Starburst, Reactoonz and Bonanza. And an up to date ‘New’ section lists the latest releases.

Platform performance in this area was OK, if not perfect. Games generally loaded in 4 to 5 seconds which is about average. On one day during our testing, Pragmatic Play games were unavailable. But this was for a brief period of a few hours and didn’t seem typical for the platform.

There are various options to search and explore the catalogue in more detail. There is a keyword search tool, a game provider filter and basic categories like New, Popular and Big Bass. But notably, not Megaways, which seems a bit odd. It’s not the most sophisticated set up, and for a game list this size, could be improved with options to search by theme, max win, format, or paylines.

We did like the ‘Favourites’ tab however, where we saved a few of our favourite games to return to quickly when we wanted.

What Are RTP Rates Like?

The slots library impressed, but unfortunately the RTP rates did not.

Of the 25 popular games we sampled, 24 were running at less than 93%, which is low. The list included some of our favourites like Book of Dead (91.25%), Big Bass Splash (92.05%) and Le Cowboy (92.3%). You can find these games at 94% or higher on other sites we have tested, like MrQ for example.

And whilst it’s not uncommon for operators to offer some slots at these lower rates, to see so many at the 91% to 93% setting was disappointing.  

Does Grand Ivy Have Progressive Jackpots?

Yes, Grand Ivy does very well in this area featuring over 300 games covering some of the biggest progressive prizes.

The best can be found on the Mega Moolah and WowPot games which often grow to bigger than £10,000,000. Relax Gaming's Dream Drop and Blueprint Gaming's Jackpot King progressive are also significant with regular multi-million GBP payouts. What Is The Website Like?

We like the visual style of Grand Ivy a lot. White Hat Gaming have upgraded their most popular brands to more elegant websites in recent years, this site being one of them. It has a sophisticated feel to it, with a charcoal grey, gold and white colour scheme that gives the site an upmarket feel.

Navigating our way through pages and games was very easy as there is a clear menu structure. And informational sections like terms and conditions or promotion summaries were well presented. The only area which felt a bit tricky was the Responsible Gambling section. We had to scroll through a lot of text to find links to each tool, and in some cases the configuration was tricky, particularly on mobile.

Site performance was good, although the game lists sometimes felt a bit slow to populate. And, on a couple of occasions pages didn’t load completely, and we had to hit the back button to re-try. But those were rare events, and didn't affect our overall enjoyment of the site.

Does Grand Ivy Have a Mobile App?

Yes, Grand Ivy is available on a mobile app from the App Store and Google Play.

We installed it on an iPhone 17 with iOS 26. It offers the same cashier and games as the desktop version and is just as easy to use. Content is well laid out and utilises the limited space well, although the left side navigation in the account area can be a bit fiddly at times.

We also noticed that the same lag when loading a game list that we saw on desktop was present on mobile too. And when closing a game there was a good 6 or 7 second delay before we were returned to the lobby. That can start to grate over time.

On balance though, overall usability on the app was good.

Grand Ivy provide customer support through email and live chat, both of which are available 24/7. There is also a help center with a searchable library of categorised articles on bonuses, payments, verification and account management.

Getting a response from the team was not always as easy as we would have liked. The average wait time for an agent to appear in chat was 8 minutes, but on two occasions we were logged-out of the website before we got a response. Replies to queries on email took as long as 27 hours on one occasion.

To be fair, once we were through, agents were helpful and resolved our queries competently, but there is room for improvement in the speed of responses.
